On Friday night the projections became the backdrop to people interacting with the Theremin Bollards, which worked really well!
For two hours on Saturday I held a workshop where people could make their own Stress Birefringence slides. Everyone was given a polarising filter to wear over their eyes, some clingfilm and a second, square polarising filter to place on the light box. They then strained or layered the clingfilm and saw the colours occur first hand. When ready, their clingfilm was sandwiched and captured in a slide to be projected on Sunday night. Just over 40 slides were made in the workshop!
